It
would be not right if we say the word “Best” animal- every creature in the
world was created to fulfill a purpose that only it can fulfill. All animals
(reptiles, birds, and insects) are equal in being the best. Just for the sake
of good qualities, there are some animals listed in the list of best animals.
SALTWATER
CROCODILE:
They
live in coastal habitats, but as their name suggests, they are comfortable in
freshwater rivers as well. They are the world's largest living reptiles and are
enormous creatures. Male crocodile is 5m in length and his weight around 500kg,
on the other side, the female crocodiles are significantly smaller, 3m in
length, or weight around 100kg. The largest saltwater crocodile ever recorded was
around 6.3m, and sometimes up to 7m long in the past. Due to the extensive
hunting of the largest specimens, it’s possible that such large, long
crocodiles no longer exist. A huge range of saltwater crocodiles extends from
Northern Australia to Eastern and Southern India. Saltwater crocodiles have a
long lifespan; they live their life on earth more than 65 years, longer than
any other species of crocodiles.
BROWN
BEAR:
Brown
bears lives in the mountains and forests of Northern North America, Asia, and
Europe but the world’s largest brown bears are found in Alaska and coastal
British Columbia and also on islands. In the winter season, bear dig dens for
winter hibernation, often rolling up in an acceptable hillside. Female pregnant bears give birth during winter,
a pair of cubs. Adult brown bears are powerful or we can say that they are top
of the food chain predators, much of their nourishment consists of roots,
leaves, fruits, berries, and nuts and they also eat other animals.
POISON
DART FROG:
They
are full of bright colors, green, blue, red, yellow, and orange. These colorful designs are the symbol of
their potential predators, that they are toxic. They get their toxicity from
those insects they eat. With a long sticky tongue that zaps and darts out the
unsuspecting bug. These poison dart frogs eat many kinds of small insects,
fruit flies, termites, tiny beetles, ants, and young cricket. All these small
insects are responsible for the frog’s toxicity. They live in South America.
The color of their body is correlated with the toxicity of species, making them
aposematic.
FENNEC
FOX:
A
type of mammals and their diet is an omnivore. Fox is considered the smallest
of all the world’s foxes but due to its long ears, 6 inches, appear to be on
loan from a bigger relative. Fennec fox lived in Sandy Sahara, and elsewhere in
North Africa. Fennel fox ears radiate body heat and keep the foxes cool. They
also have long thick hair which protects them from the hot sun during the day,
even their feet are hairy, which helps them to protect their feet from the hot
sand. Fennec fox lives in underground dens. These fennec foxes are
opportunistic eaters. They eat rodents, eggs, insects, and reptiles. They also
have the ability to go for long periods without water. These foxes are very
attractive with cream-colored with black-tipped tails.
PENGUINS:
Penguins
are flightless seabirds. There are 18 different kinds of penguins, they all are
different in shape and size but all have black bodies and white bellies.
Penguins can’t fly, but their webbed feet, stiff sleepers, and sleek shape make
them experts in swimming. They can swim about 15 miles an hour. Penguins take
care of their eggs and raise their chicks. Parents keep their eggs warm, and
when they breed, feeding and protecting their chicks. For a few weeks each
year, thousands of baby penguins wait together until their parents forage for
food. Among the largest threats to penguins, populations change the climate.
They eat fish and many other animals that they catch underwater.
